Spotlight on CSISD Success!
Family and Football Score for Hall of Fame Honoree
“Aaron exemplifies the outstanding qualities of a CSISD student athlete,” commented Mindy Casper, who was just one of many educators that nominated Aaron Campbell-Love for the 2018 Senior Hall of Fame. Aaron was one of sixty students honored for his school spirit, positive attitude, leadership and integrity. Those who know him best say Aaron demonstrates the hard work and determination he learned from his family.
Aaron graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2018, overcoming personal challenges and injuries as he represented Consol on Varsity Football, Track and Baseball. His dedication helped him earn a scholarship to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he will play for the D3 nationally-ranked Crusader football team.
As he reflected on his time at CSISD and his Hall of Fame award, Aaron shared, “I am honored and hugely humbled. It makes me want to do my best in school, in sports and for my family.”
Each year, about 6% of the district's graduating seniors are voted on by their high school teachers based on integrity, leadership, school spirit and positive attitude to be honored as a Hall of Fame Student. Students are then asked to select an educator who has made a significant impact on their academic career. All honorees are invited to a banquet where several students share their essays about their honored educators.
