College Station, TX -- The College Station ISD Education Foundation honored 64 graduating seniors and their chosen educators at the annual Senior Hall of Fame banquet on Wednesday, April 23. The Hall of Fame banquet was hosted from 6:30-9:00 P.M. at Hilton College Station.
Honorees from A&M Consolidated, College Station, and College View High Schools were selected based on integrity, positive attitude, leadership, and dedication to their school. Senior candidates are voted on by the teachers from each high school, then the top 6% of those are honored. Each student honoree selects an educator who has been influential in their academic career and tributes them with an essay.
“This inspirational event encourages future leaders and celebrates how teachers make an impact on their lives,” shared Education Foundation Board President Mike Newkham.
“Hall of Fame commemorates outstanding seniors and educators, and it’s a celebration of their efforts throughout their career in CSISD,” said Education Foundation Executive Director Teresa Benden. “It honors the hard work and dedication they show every day.”
The Title Sponsor of the event is the Barrett-Ashfield family. Additional sponsors include Aggieland Chevrolet, Amarillo National Bank, Conlee-Garrett Moving & Storage, Van Stavern Small Animal Hospital, St. Joseph Health, and VLK Architects.
