A unique, online learning website designed by CSISD teachers for CSISD 7th 12 th grade students to access high school-level course support which includes videos, notes, assignments, practice quizzes and third-party link.
Why
Students are driven and motivated digitally. With the explosion of smartphones and their unending uses, students are comfortable accessing information directly on their devices. It’s a one-stop shop: one place so students are not visiting multiple teacher sites or at a disadvantage if their instructor does not provide additional online materials. Can also be used for students who:
- attend class but need additional support
- miss class due to extra-curricular activities
- need course recovery from failing a subject
Access
97% of CSISD students own or have access to a smartphone which puts Success 24/7 in the hands of almost every student. Those who don’t have a phone have access on the school library computers both before and after school.
Current
Seven core classes: Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, Geometry, Spanish I and World History are fully completed and currently being accessed by over 1,500 users at least twice a week not during school hours. For the 2014-15 school year, we had a total of 243,118 “sessions” where students logged on.
Goals
For the 2018-19 school year we plan to complete Spanish II.
