CSISD Education Foundation Honors 65 Outstanding Graduating Seniors & Selected Educators

The College Station ISD Education Foundation will honor the top 6% of graduating seniors voted on by the teachers from each high school in CSISD at their annual Senior Hall of Fame banquet tonight.  This year, 65 students from A&M Consolidated, College Station, and College View High Schools were selected based on integrity, leadership, positive attitude, and dedication to their school.  Each student honoree selects an educator who has been influential in their academic career and honors them with an essay.

“This is such an inspirational event because not only are the students being honored, but we get to hear why they selected their teachers and how they made an impact on their lives,” shared Jody Ford, board president of the Education Foundation.

This year, the Hall of Fame banquet has been moved to the Brazos County Expo Complex and guests have been limited due to COVID 19 restrictions.  However, the event will be streamed live publicly on Facebook:

“We are excited about hosting this event in person this year after having to go to a virtual event last year due to the pandemic,” said Teresa Benden, Education Foundation executive director.  “These students and educators deserve to be celebrated and celebrated in person!”

The event is being underwritten by the Barrett-Ashfield Family, with several other donors also sponsoring including Caldwell Country Chevrolet, CHI St. Joseph Health, Culpepper Realty, H-E-B and The Rife Law Firm.  A full list of sponsors, honorees and the complete program including all the student essays can be found HERE.
